How TrichoTalk makes money

TrichoTalk is free for patients. Here is exactly how it is funded.

What clinics can pay for

  1. Patient enquiries. When you ask for quotes or a callback, and after we confirm your request with you, we share it with clinics you agree to. Those clinics may pay TrichoTalk a fee for each enquiry.
  2. Sponsored placements. A clinic may pay to appear in a separate, clearly labelled Sponsored box on a city page.

What payment never buys

  • A higher position in our editorial clinic lists. See how lists are ordered.
  • A "Verified" badge. Verification is free and based only on registration checks.
  • Mentions, recommendations or favourable wording in our guides.
  • Access to your details without your agreement.

Other business relationships

Some members of the team behind TrichoTalk also provide marketing services to healthcare providers, including clinics that may be listed here. Where such a relationship exists, the clinic's profile carries a Disclosure label explaining it. Those clinics are listed by the same rules as everyone else.

Referral fees and medical ethics

Doctors in India are bound by the National Medical Commission's code of conduct. TrichoTalk charges clinics for advertising and enquiry-handling services, not a share of treatment fees, and we don't accept payment that depends on whether you go ahead with treatment.
